Founded in 2003,
but conceptualized for years Soup Factory Etc. now offers Madisonians an
excellent choice for lunch or dinner.
“We’ve had this dream for a long time”
says Tina referring to her and her husband Steve's plan to open a soup and
sandwich cafe. Seeing an opportunity to cater to the business and local
lunch crowd within the Madison Community started the wheels turning.
Each day we prepare eight
homemade soups from scratch. We also have an extensive list of homemade "gourmet"
deli salads and garden salads. And let's not forget our
delicious made to order sandwiches! Our focus is nearby consumers looking
for a fresh, great tasting, quick lunch for both carrying out and dining in.
Everything at Soup Factory etc. is freshly made, without the addition of
additives or preservatives. Our simple mission is to provide customers
with a healthy meal alternative to typical lunch fare. Besides food, our
décor aims to be comfortable and inviting with deep natural colors, and a slight
modern or industrial feel - This fits our factory theme.

Tina’s passion and dedication to the
culinary field began fifteen years ago while preparing for a professional chef’s
career at The Culinary Institute of America (CIA)
www.ciachef.edu in Hyde Park, New York.
“It was during this time that the dream of opening my own restaurant began.”
Long hours and entrepreneurial drive forced Tina to think beyond traditional
chef's careers, and the result...Soup Factory Etc.
